Kevin James

Kevin has recently retired following a long and successful career with Computacenter PLC where he had been UK Managing Director and subsequently Group Chief Commercial Officer. Since retirement Kevin is delighted to be engaged with the Executive Change team in an “Associate” capacity providing advisory/support services to help drive the business forward.

Kevin is well versed in Executive Change’s capabilities and track record. Whilst leading the UK for Computacenter, and with Craig Redbond, he leveraged EC’s unique “Outside In” approach and working alongside the CEO, drove the concept of the CIO Advisory board, materially refining and enhancing Computacenter’s proposition and go to market strategy whilst accelerating executive engagement for the benefit of the business.

Subsequently, as Computacenter’s CCO Kevin worked very closely with leading Technology Partners at CxO level to grow and enhance their mutual businesses together both locally and globally. Simultaneously, his team led the transformation program for the Technology Sourcing operation to manage the rapidly evolving and maturing product business. Prior to the CCO role, as UK Managing Director Kevin was responsible for driving long term, sustained growth through strategic focus on both customer engagement and people development.  

Subsequently, as Chief Commercial Officer Kevin was an active and regular member on all major OEM Technology vendors’ Global and EMEA Partner Advisory Boards. These included Cisco, Dell Technology, HPE, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, NetApp, Veritas, VMware, and many others. 

Alongside the advisory work with Executive Change, Kevin is providing similar work with a few other selected organisations. He’s a keen (but distinctly average) golfer and is enjoying his retirement through a blend of great golf courses and extended travel with his family…
